This scale has an LCD display with large numbers, and the platform is 14½ inches wide. A voice reads the weight in English, French, Spanish, or German; the voice can be turned off.
This scale reads in increments of 0.2 lbs or 0.1 kg. For example, in pounds, it can read 350.0, 349.8, 349.6, etc. It was designed for personal use at home. The lifetime warranty (30 years in Europe) allows for personal home use only. The scale is not warranted for commercial use or frequent use with dozens of people, such as a doctor's office or diet club. Four AA batteries are included.

Note that if you live in the continental U.S., and you order this scale and specify shipment by an air service, we will email or call you with the S/H surcharge (over and above what the website indicates for your S/H) for your approval before billing your order. Recent increases in air shipping rates that greatly affect heavy or large items have made it impossible to quote a fixed price for all customers. Unless you live close to NY State, priority mail from us to you is often an air service, and has equally inflated rates.
The same is true if you live in Alaska, Hawaii, or any country outside the U.S.
This scale, if shipped by air, can easily add $40 or more to the S/H charges listed in our Shipping Policy, depending on where you live.
