Dear Amplestuff customer:

We are currently getting caught up with some old orders, now that the snow and ice has melted away! The only thing that would make me happier is if any waist pack ("fanny pack") manufacturer would return my phone calls and emails. They don't.

A lot of customers have said that they hope we can bring back the fanny packs for ANY waist size that we used to sell. (The factory in China burned down!)

Supply chain shortages continue to plague some of our vendors. Many of them have staff who are now working at home (OK, I do it, too!), and it can be hard to reach a live human being with service and shipping questions.

Here's an observation: We continue to hear that customers are astonished when we return their call promptly (most of the time) and can answer tough questions about the actual products.

That's because we are a small family-owned business that loves to talk to customers. When you call us, you will never hear the automated message, "Please listen to this entire announcement, as some of our menu options have changed."

In fact, if you call to ask questions about one of our products, or some unusual shipping arrangement you need due to "porch pirates" stealing your stuff, we will work something out without having to check with a supervisor, and call you back later.

Here's a tip: When you place an order with us, there is a section to write your comments. If you need your order by a certain deadline (upcoming travel plans, a hospitalization date, etc), feel free to tell us in your comments. It might help us to prioritize your order, or choose the best shipping method, and so forth. (Your comments are confidential, and not shared with anyone!)

Since you have read this far, I will also mention that we can arrange to give you a courtesy discount if you are a senior, disabled person, homeless, and/or on a fixed income. To arrange for that, please call us so we can ask you a question or two. I promise to not be too intrusive. Most of our customers are honest people.
